Shakir aka DJ Quazzar - Born in South Carolina, but grew up in NYC. DJ/Producer/Barista/Hip Hop Journalist. Specializing in making people dance and making people think. Ekundayo - super, duper, star type...you know the rest!  One of BK/L.I./ATL's finest wordsmiths, Mountenliun of the mighty Liuns Den, also happens to be the manager at The Grounds.  He makes a very, very nice caramel macchiato, and in case you were interested in our events, he can help you out with that too!

 

Quic - President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Zulu Nation and budding entrepreneur, Quic makes a little time to hang out with us at The Grounds.  Oh, and those bikes at the shop...his.

 

Marc & Evelyn - Bakers of the extraordinary Homemade Joy cookies available at the shop.  They show the morning crowd lots of love and may even have your regular on-the-go drink ready when you walk in the door...that is, if you come by often enough!
